Nevada Camp Resolution

This email is drafted with a consensus of the Sons of Confederate Veterans camps in the State of Nevada.

We, the Nevada camps, Sons Of Confederate Veterans, do hereby state that we condemn the actions taken by Anthony Hodges and a number of the members of the General Executive Council of the Sons Of Confederate Veterans and WILL NOT recognize them as the governing officers of our organization.

We further state that if Anthony Hodges and the General Executive Council refuse to reverse course that we will do everything in our power to see that CIC Denne Sweeney and his appointed officers are returned to their positions. Including backing a special convention to facilitate the matter by procedures as set forth by the Constitution of our organization.

We, the Nevada camps also ask that legal action be taken to protect the treasury and property of the membership of the confederation. We feel without this move that our own treasury can be used against the truly elected officers. The compatriots of the state of Nevada stand ready to assist in any and all ways to return our CIC to his rightful place.
